For a recent project, we delivered a three-unit container setup consisting of two 20-foot open-side containers and one 20-foot DV shipping container. To create a continuous, practical interior space, open-side openings were implemented on two sides and additional personnel doors were installed. The floor levels were aligned to provide an open interior with a consistent height across the entire unit. The exterior finish was completed in RAL 7016. We have completed a high-quality conversion of a 40'HC shipping container with full insulation. This configuration is suitable for temperature-stable storage and for custom applications where a robust interior build and defined technical standards are required. The insulation was installed throughout: 60 mm for walls, roof, and doors, and 100 mm mineral wool for the floor in accordance with DIN 4102 A1. A rigid, fully welded support structure provides the required stability and serves as the base for all interior installations. The interior lining was finished with 1.5 mm stainless steel sheets. Externally, the container was coated in RAL 7016 using a high-quality 1K branded paint system. The unit is equipped with a standard electrical and lighting package, including two 43 W LED vapor-proof lights mounted centrally along the length, a light switch with a 230 V socket at the container door, two double 230 V outlets, a 230 V / 16 A external power inlet, and a distribution board with RCD protection. VDE inspection and acceptance are included. All installations are mounted to specially welded profiles. No components are fixed directly to the container walls. Read more >>
